Gokyo Lake Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp Trek is one of the most attractive and thrill  trekking trails in Khumbu region including many magnificent views of Everest region . This  Trek follows the Gokyo Lake, Gokyo Ri, Chola Pass before descending to Dzonghla. From Dzonghla, the trail leads to  Lobuche. The most challenging  part in this trek is  to across Cho La Pass which is most adventure and heart touching part of trekking there we pursue to  Kalapatthar and  Everest base camp. This  Pass provides various panoramic views along with the breath-stopping scenes of the snow-covered mountains and glaciers.

Gokyo Lake  Cho La Pass Everest Base Camp Trek gives an ample opportunity to explore the Everest region thoroughly. The trekking trail provides one of the most memorable observations of the landscapes through Khumbu region, Gokyo valley and the Cho-La Pass following Dudh Koshi River. The climb of Gokyo Peak (5480m.) is another experience along the trail. After fixing the trek in Gokyo you can enjoy the wonderful scenery of Gokyo valley. A short climb to Gokyo Ri provides the beautiful panoramic views of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Cho Oyo, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse (7879m.), Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cholaste, Mt. Tawache, Mt. Gyachung Kang and so on. As the trail crosses Chyugima- La Pass, the trekkers round through Everest Base Camp, Kalapatthar and trek back to Lukla via Namche.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, Our team member  will meet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel, give you briefing about the trip.

Day 02: Early Morning fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding. (2610m) 4 hours.

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Bazaar ( 3440m) 6 hours

Day 04: Namche Bazaar Rest ( Today is the acclimation day. we will hike to Everest view hotel where you can see great Everest view and visit Sagarmatha National park)

Day 05: Namche Bazaar to Dhole (4110m) 6 hours.

Day 06: Dhole to Machherma(4470m) 6 hours.

Day 07: Machherma to Gokyo(4790m) 5 hours.

Day 08: Gokyo Rest day ( early morning we will hike to Gokyo Ri (5360m)

Day 09: Gokyo to Thagnag(4700m) 5 hours.

Day 10: Thagnag to Chola pass(5368m) Dzonghla (4830m) 7 hours.

Day 11: Dzonghla to Lobuche ( 4910m) 6 hours.

Day 12: Lobuche to Goraksheph(5140m) visit Everest Base Camp( 5364m) 7 hours.

Day 13: Gorakhsheph to visit Kalapather  to Pangboche (3930m) 7 hours.

Day 14: Pangboche  to Namche (3440m) 5 hours.

Day 15: Namche to Lukla ( 2840m) 6 hours.

Day 16: Lukla to Kathmandu by flight.

Day 17: Departure from Nepal.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Welcome to the country of Mt. Everest! As you arrive in Tribhuvan International Airport, our representatives will receive you and transfer to the hotel which you have booked in Kathmandu. Hotel staffs will complete check in and manage for your accommodation. .

Day 02: Kathmandu to Lukla flight and Trek to Phakding (2610m.) 4hrs.
On this day, you will be transferred to the airport for  scenic flight to Lukla. It is less than 40 minutes flight with astonishing views of mountains, forests and river valley. After landing in Lukla, we begin our trekking to Phakding. The trail leads to Phakding enjoying the natural scenario along the way. It is about 4hours trekking from Lukla.

 Stay overnight in lodge or tea houses.

Day 03: Phakding to Namche Trek  (3440m) 6hrs
On this day, we trek to Namche Bazaar from Phakding Village through Dudh Koshi riverside. The trail is pleasant with the views of forests of pine, Oaks  and Rhododendron trees. We reach Monjo which is the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park. The views of giant mountains are impressive while walking through the trail.

Day 04: Acclimatization Day
Today is acclimatization day in Namche so, that your body can acclimatized according to high elevation. It is also the preparation day before purse to further high elevation. we will go for hike to Everest view hotel where you can view the panoramic scenes of Khumbu region. On the way to Everest view hotel  you can explore locals community and there life style.

Day 05: Namche to Dhole trek (4110m.) 6hrs.
After breakfast in Namche, we begin trekking following the trail to Dhole. These giant mountains seem to be so near from there. The trekking is stopped after we reach Dhole. You can explore the surrounding of Dhole and develop knowledge about the area.

  Stay overnight in lodge or tea houses.

Day 06 : Dhole to Machherma Trek (4470m.) 6hrs.
This day trek continues to Machherma from Dole. The trail is ascending up to the elevation of 4470m. Trekking continues with the superb scenarios of mountains and glaciated area. We reach at Machherma and stay overnight there. You have free time to walk around the village and explore its culture and life style.

Day 07: Machherma to Gokyo Trek (4790m.) 5hrs
On this day we trek to Gokyo Lake. The trail is through rocky ascend to reach the Lake. As we reach to the lake, the views of crystal clear lakes are beautiful. The mirror images of mountains in the lake water are so impressive that makes you stop breath for a while.

Day 08: Excursion Gokyo Valley and Climb Gokyo Ri (5360m.)
This day is climbing the Gokyo Ri. You have wonderful opportunity to explore the area around Gokyo Valley. The trek then heads to Gokyo Ri to have wonderful views of mountains and peaks. The views of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyo and many other peaks are astonishing from the top of Gokyo Ri. We have Full day excursion of Gokyo surrounding and overnight stay in Gokyo lake side.

Day 09: Gokyo- Thagnag Trek- 5hrs (4700m.)
On this day, we trek to Thagnag from Gokyo Valley. The trek continues through snow fields with superb views of mountains and peaks. You can have life memorable trek throughout the day with some challenges too. We stay overnight in Thagag after exploring the surrounding area in the evening.

Day 10: Thagnag – Chola Pass(5368m) – Dzonghla Trek- 7hrs. (4830m)
Trekking of this day climbs up to Chola Pass and descends to Dzongla. The ascending trail leads to Chola Pass (5368m.) from where the views of Lofty mountains including Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Cho Oyo, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse (7879m.), Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cholaste, Mt. Tawache, Mt. Gyachung Kang and many other  are very impressive. You can explore the surrounding area of Dzongla in the evening where we stay overnight

Day 11: Dzonghla- Lobuche   (4910m.)6 hrs.
On this day, we begin climbing from Dzonghla and continue to Khumbu Glacier. The astonishing views of Tawache and Cholaste are eyes stacking. You can feel the high altitude because of extreme cold in Lobuche Village.

Day 12:  Lobuche -Gorakshep-(5140m) Visit to Everest Base CampTrek (5364m.)7 hrs.
On this day, we trek to Everest Base Camp from Lobuche to  Gorakshep with the astonishing views of mountains and peaks. After reaching to Gorakshep we  will visit  Everest Base Camp. It  is the point for the mountaineers to summit the peak. The experience of being at the foothill of world’s highest mountain cannot be expressed in words. We trek descend to Gorakshep for overnight stay.

Day 13: Gorakshep to Kalapather ( 5545m) Pangboche (3930m) 7hrs.

On this day, we trek to  Kalapatthar, Gigantic views of mountains and glaciers around you give a sense of heaven including close-up view of Mt. Everest, Amadablam and Pumori. We continue trekking to a small settlement of Panboche. You can explore the village of Pangboche .

Stay overnight in lodge or tea houses.

Day 14: Pangboche-Namche Trek 6hrs.
On this day, we trek to Namche, you can enjoy the glimpse of Everest region and its surrounding.  you can also get chance to explore the Sherpa culture through out the trail.

Stay overnight in lodge or tea houses.

Day 15:  Namche to Phakding-Lukla-. (2840m.) 6 hrs
This day trekking trail follows a sandy path with strenuous walk. The trail is full of picturesque view of landscape and some mountain scenarios. You can explore Lukla Bazaar and shop local items there. You can celebrate your successful trekking there in Lukla with special brands of drinks. Evening time offers you to visit surrounding area before we stay overnight in Lukla.

Day 16: Lukla to Kathmandu
On this day, you fly to Kathmandu in the morning. This short and scenic flight possibly makes you feel nostalgic because of the glimpses of snowy mountains through private window of plane. You will be transferred to hotel where you either have leisure time or you may catch the last moments exploring the sights of Kathmandu. Shopping in market is another best option. In the evening, we have a celebration dinner together.

Day 17: Departure Day
as it is the last day, we have to bid goodbye to the guest as visit in Nepal comes to the end for this time. If you have time enough, you can have sightseeing and purchasing the token of love from Nepal. Before 3 hours of scheduled flight, our representatives will take you to the TIA. We hope you will be planning for another adventure-trip while you are on returning back to your homeland. You can extend your Nepal stay if you have time and desire too.

Disclaimer: Lukla being accessible only via air and weather of the flight zone being unpredictable, there are often cases of unavailability of tickets, delay or even cancellation of the scheduled flights.
