Pisang Peak Climbing

Pisang Peak is an easy and least Climbing peak in Nepal which is situated just north of the Manang Valley from where Annapurna Circuit, Thorang La pass(5,416m.) which is highest mountain pass in the world to reach Muktinath passes through. Muktinath is a divine pilgrimage site of Buddhist and Hindu people. In Muktinath, we are able to explore kind Hindu Temple and Monasteries. The Pisang peak was first conquered by German expedition team in 1955. The itinerary of Pisang peak climbing is the combination of wonderful trekking and climbing of Himalayan ranges.

Pisang peak Climbing itinerary gives you opportunities to explore the natural and cultural wonders of amazing Annapurna trekking area. Day 20: Fly to Pokhara (820m. / 25 minutes)

Day 21: Drive (6 hrs)/Fly (30 minutes) back to Kathmandu (1,334m. / 6 hours)

Day 22: Fly back home

Day 01: Arrival day (1,300m/4,264 fits
Welcome to Kathmandu the capital city of Nepal. Today is your first day with Himalayan Adventure Treks and Tours; therefore, we send one of our company representatives to receive you at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), who will further escort you to a tourist standard hotel
Day 02: Kathmandu Valley sightseeing and trek preparation (1,300m/4,264 ft)
Today, we take you on a few hour tours to the major attractions of Kathmandu valley. After spending few hours observing these wonderful sites, we again meet for a few hours to finalize your clothing and trekking gears (down jacket, trekking boots, sleeping bags etc.) required during the trek. The World Heritage sites like Kathmandu Durbar Square (a historical structure offering architectural wonders), the Pashupatinath temple (a Hindu shrine dedicated to Lord Shiva- lord possessing the power of destruction), Swyambhunath and Boudhanath (a Buddhist shrine dedicated to Lord Buddha- Light of Asia are the major attraction of today`s trek.

Day 03: Drive to Besisahar (760m/2,493ft) 7 hours
Early in the morning, our guides will pick you up at your hotel and escort you to the bus station to catch a bus to Besisahar. The bus heads west, leaving the Kathmandu Valley and the journey continues on a winding Prithvi Highway along the Trisuli River till Dumre. From Dumre, the bus heads north towards Besisahar, following the Marsyangdi River. After about 7 hours ride we reach the destination, Besisahar.
Day 04: Besisahar to Bahundanda (1,398m/45,86ft) 6 and half hours
Bahundanda is the destination set for the day. Following the dusty road from Besisahar, the journey continues north towards Bhulbhule. The trail passes through rice terraces and the sub-tropical forest. Khudi and Bhulbhule greet us with the first view of Manaslu, Himchuli and Nagdi Chuli. The fabulous view of Manaslu, Himchuli and Nagdi Chuli, beautiful view of the waterfall, and the trail accompanied by sub-tropical forest, rice terraces, roaring Marsyangdi River and the little settlements of Gurung and Tamang people; their temple, monasteries and Mane are the highlights of today`s trek.
Day 05: Bahundanda to Chamje (1,410m/4,625ft) 5-6hours

The Beautiful view of more than 100m long waterfalls, culturally captivating communities, rice terraces, green woodland, unbelievable landscape, and the humming Marsyangdi River are the highlights of today`s trek. From Bahundanda, we hike down to Syange through the rice terraces, following the east bank of the Marsyangdi River before we reached the Chamje.
Day 06: Chamje to Bagarchhap(2,080m/6,824ft) 6 and half hours
The cultivated fields of corn, barley, maize, potato as well as marijuana, Apple orchards, forest of Pine, Rhododendron, Bamboo and Fir, Manang district and Tibetan villages with archetypal flat roofed stone houses and decorated with prayer flags and the glimpses of the lifestyle and culture of the Tibetan people are the attraction of today`s day.
Day 07: Chamje to Dharapani (1950m/5-6 hours)

After a short walk, we will reach suspension bridge of Marsyandi. From there we trek to Tal. From Tal, we follow the upstream and reach Dharapani through rocky trails for overnight.
Day 08: Dharapani to Chame (2,630m. /5-6 hours)
Early morning after breakfast, we will again start our trek, where we will first pass Bagarchap and Danaque. Further, we go through several beautiful villages before reaching Chame. Chame is superb view point for Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II. Overnight.
Day 09: Chame to Upper Pisang (3,700m./5-6 hours)
On the way to Upper Pisang, we first pass Bhartang, the village of apple garden. We then take the gradual path up to a bridge and we reach Dhukure Pokhari; our lunch place. Walking with tree line, a fascinating view of Pisang peak on the north and Chulu peak along with beautiful Pisang village we will reach Upper Pisang for overnight.
Day 10: Acclimatization Day
On this day we take to walk around Pisang and explore the stunning surroundings with magnificent views of all the Annapurnas, Gangapurna and Tilicho.
Day 11: Upper Pisang to Pisang Peak Base Camp (4,380 m. /3-4 hours)
After breakfast, we will take ascent up the trail to Pisang Base Camp via Kharka. Overnight at Kharka.
Day 12: Pisang Peak Base Camp to High Camp (5,400m. / 3-4 hours)
This day we will further hike up to Pisang High Camp. Upon our arrival in High Camp, we will set our tent for overnight. Overnight.
Day 13: Summit Pisang Peak and trek back to Base Camp (6,091m. /7-9 hours)

Probably the most interesting and important day of the trip. This day from High Camp we first summit Pisang Peak. After the successful summit, we will spend some time on the top, after then we will trek back to Pisang Base Camp for overnight.
Day 14: Base Camp to Manag Valley (3,450m. /5-6 hours)
After breakfast, we set off to Manang Valley; a valley which has rich customs & tradition. With five to six hours walk we reach Manang. Overnight in Manang.
Day 15: Manang to Yak Kharka (4,110m. / 3-4 hours)
From Manang, we take steep up the trail to Tenki Manang village where we will get the fabulous views of Annapurna, Gangapurna and Tilicho Peak. Further, we will continue our trek and will reach Yak Kharka for overnight.
Day 16: Yak Kharka to Throng Pedi (4,400m. / 3-4 hours)
After breakfast, this day we will trek to Throng Phedi. Thorang Phedi is a small yet beautiful settlement situated at the foot of the famous high pass Thorang-La.
Day 17: Phedi to the Thorung-La Pass and to Muktinath (Up to 5416 m. /8½ hours)
This day we will start early morning to pass Thorang La. It takes 4-6 hours to complete the wild Himalayan pass. After crossing the pass we will trek down to Muktinath which is a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. Overnight at Muktinath.
Day 18: Muktinath to Kagbeni (3550 m. /3½ hours)
This day we will start our trekking late morning. We first explore the wonderful Muktinath and then will trek to Kagbeni for overnight.
Day 19: Kagbeni to Jomsom (2,800m. /3-4 hours)

Today, after breakfast We will commence trekking from Kagbeni to Jomsom, headquarter of Mustang which is an inhabitant of Thakali people with their rich culture and tradition. Overnight at Jomsom.
Day 20: Fly to Pokhara (820m. / 25 minutes)

Today, we will take spectacular flight from Jomsom to Pokhara. In Pokhara, we will have enough time to explore the beautiful city. Overnight at Pokhara.
Day 21: Drive back to Kathmandu (1,334m. / 6 hours)
We will travel back to Kathmandu by bus. In Kathmandu we can do some gift shopping. In evening we will join a farewell dinner organized by Himalayan Adventure Treks and Tours team. Overnight at hotel.
Day 22: Fly back home
This day is the last day of your trip in Nepal with Himalayan Adventure Treks and Tours. If your flight is scheduled early morning, then one of our company representatives will escort you to the airport as per your flight departure time. But, if the flight is scheduled later in the evening, you can go shopping and collect a few mementos or simply hang around shopping areas in Kathmandu.
