Where is Nepal?

Nepal is landlocked country located in southern Asia couched between India and China. Nepal is geographical, culturally and linguistically diverse. The capital of the country is Kathmandu, commonly known as ‘city of temples’ where we can explore traditional artistic beauty.

What is Nepal know for?

Nepal is famous for eight of the world’s tallest mountains which include Mt. Everest, birth place of Buddha, the biggest  Hindu temple of lord Shiva in the world.

Can I get a Visa on arrival?

Yes! Nepal visa is easily available up on arrival in the entry places.

Do you have Airport pickup facilities?

Definitely! We do have airport pick up facilities for our customer who have booked for our any packages. As the time you booked your trip, you have to inform us.

Do I need previous hiking experience required to go on a trek?

If you are physically fit and have extra exercise enough enthusiasm for the trip previous experience is not required.

What is the food like on the trek?

Fantastic! If you haven’t already tried Dal Bhat you are in for a treat.Dal Bhat is the signature Nepali dish – rice and lentil soup with two types of curried vegetables and pickles. It is on the menu in every tea house on the trek. A nice breakfast especially you might also want to try is Tibetan Gurung bread with honey. The mountain tea houses will also serve up more familiar western dishes like pizza or muesli for the morning.

What is the food like?

Vegetarian and non-vegetarian good and exactly what you need for the energy. The cook will provide anything from pizza to curry and scrambled to chocolate cake. In tea house, you will have a full menu available to choose from.

How cold will it be?

Depends on the season of course and generally it’s comfortable tour/treks. Please ask for the more details based on the tour of your preference. You could be trekking in T-shirt or with a wind breaker, but mostly the days are fine and the evenings cool to chilly. For Kathmandu valley, it is just perfect for the most of the time. If you are doing treks above 4000m in winter then it could get -10 degree Celsius at the most.

Can I call my home or my work place?

Kathmandu and many places are we visit are linked to a phone system with STD and ISD facilities. There are all the facilities you need including fax and full internet/e-mail .if you are doing trek in completely remote area of the country then you will have no access for any communication for few days to a week.

How much money do I need?

It is hard to say! You may need money for taxi fare , for a beverages , presents and tips. if you don’t intend to buy lots of gifts and are not intending to extend your stay, then for week US$300 to 400 should be ample, but have contingency plans (credit card) just in case. It also depends on your tour package and what’s included.

How hard our trek will be?

Depending on what sort of trek you are taking. For trekking, you should be fit enough to trek about 6 hours a day.

What will I need to carry on the trek?

A small backpack. It will contain all what you need during a trekking day and kit-bag with a padlock or a big backpack. It will contain the personal belongings, carried by you. About 10 to 15 kg , backpack which will e carried by porters.

Where to stay on trek?

During your trek, your guide will take you to reputable tea houses. The tea houses will be in sizable villages and be able to provide you food, water and sleeping arrangements of the best standard available.

How many extra days should I allow in case of flight cancellation?

If you are flying from a remote mountain airstrip like Lukla, Jomsom, Simikot, Taplejung and Dolpo , we should keep 2 to 3 days spare before your departure for home.

What is the maximum weight allowed on domestic flights?

The normal weight limit is 15 kg for all the domestic flights we, therefore, recommend you not overload yourself.

What are arrangements for drinking water made while on trek?

You should bring one-liners water bottle with you on the trek. We prefer that you purify water yourself using iodine in order to save scarce fuel. You can also buy mineral water if you trek areas like Annapurna, Everest, and lantang .
